DrugCheck 3000 saliva drug test

The test shows whether someone has recently taken drugs. Sampling is non-invasive, and the compact kit has no electrical parts, so it can be used anywhere: at roadside checks, in the workplace or in forensic work.

Key features

• Six substance classes at once. The test covers cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines (including designer drugs such as ecstasy/MDMA), benzodiazepines and cannabis (THC).
• Optimised for THC detection. Cannabis is the most frequently used drug and the hardest to identify. The test offers two modes: fast – 3 minutes, THC cut-off 25 ng/ml; sensitive – 5 minutes, with a longer pre-incubation, cut-off 15 ng/ml.
• No power, no tampering. The single-use kit is hygienic and safe to use in hazardous areas and on site.
• The same technology as the DrugTest 5000. Dräger used the proven testing principle of the DrugTest 5000 system, which reliably detects even minute traces of THC.
• Optional digital documentation. The Dräger add app for Android and iOS scans, documents and archives results in a few steps, with PDF reports and central storage for authorised users.

How the test works

1. Collect the saliva sample with the hygienic collector. The colour indicator on the swab disappears once it has absorbed enough saliva.
2. Shake the test kit and wait out the short incubation period.
3. Read the result in the cassette window. A line next to a substance class means a negative result; a missing line means a positive result for that substance.
